When you are playing the game, Amy will say to Sonic, “Maybe if you use that new technique of yours, you can clean up all this wild brush?”. This is your cue that the quest is about to begin. Sonic will just have attained his new power, the Cycloops. You need to use this “new technique” to complete the Spring is in the Air quest in Sonic Frontiers.

After Amy speaks this dialogue, a pop up notice will appear on the screen with the heading “Spring is in the Air”. This pop up will provide you with instructions on what you need to do to complete the quest. You can see the instruction in the pop up in the image below:

There are three characters in the quest:

  • The weeds
  • The Bees
  • The flowers

Your goal is to gain 7,000 points by destroying the weeds, and for this, you need to draw Cycloops around the weeds. But this is not all, you also need to save Sonic from the Bees. There are two options for this. If you have good control, you can simply avoid the bees and quickly demolish all the weeds to earn the required points.

However, if your control is not that good, you can draw Cycloops around the flowers to make them bloom. This will attract the bees to the flowers and Sonic will be saved. However, remember, blooming flowers will not give you any points. Therefore, your main goal should be to destroy the weeds by drawing Cycloops around them.
