The game has been gathering massive limelight recently as it has got a delayed release state. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released in March, then shifted to May, creating a massive hoax since it has not been released yet.
Why is the Prison Architect 2 Release Date Delayed?
A recent post from the publisher declared that rather than being released on 7th May 2024, it will delayed to 3rd September 2024. The game was ready to be released, but some memory usage and minimum spec configuration issues have been noted causing failures.
Since the players are excited to play the game, they found it better to shift the release date and provide the best-ever experience after the fix. During the stability verification, they found an error that can cause crashing or freezing problems.
After the identification of the issues, they worked on it and fixed it, but it emerged new technical problems. As a result, the team decided to postpone the game and released it in September, ensuring a flawless gaming experience for players.
