The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is an open-world RPG and an upgraded version of the original Oblivion game.

This version comes with new content, better performance, and support for modern platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The game is set in a magical world called Cyrodiil, where the Emperor has been killed and portals to a dark demon world are opening across the land.

You play as the main hero whose mission is to close the Oblivion gates, battle monsters, protect the people, and save the world from destruction.

In this article, we explain how to get Frostcrag Spire in Oblivion Remastered, making it easier for you to obtain it.

How to get Frostcrag Spire in Oblivion Remastered

Step 1: Start the Quest

In the remaster, DLC quests don’t pop up automatically like they did before.

You need to start it yourself.

  • Go to Cheydinhal (east Cyrodiil).
  • Check your journal or visit the Mages Guild for a quest called “Wizard’s Tower.”
  • Or, go straight to Frostcrag Spire — it’s already marked on your map!
  • Recommended Level: Any, but Level 5+ is better.
  • Time to reach: 5–10 minutes.

Step 2: Buy the Deed

In Cheydinhal:

  • Visit Mach-Na’s Books or Borba’s Goods and Stores.
  • Talk about buying property or listen for rumors.
  • They’ll offer you the deed for 10,000 gold.

Need Gold?

  • Sell loot from dungeons or stolen goods at shops like Jensine’s in the Imperial City.
  • Finish quests like “Fingers of the Mountain” for rewards.
  • Shortcut (PC only): Use console: player.additem 0000000F 10000.
  • Tip: Save your game before buying, just in case!
  • Time to gather gold: 10–20 minutes.

Step 3: Travel to Frostcrag Spire

Once you buy the deed, the map marker will update.

  • Fast travel or ride north from Cheydinhal.
  • Follow the snowy trails into the Jerall Mountains.
  • Look for a tall icy tower.
  • Enemies on the way: Wolves, bandits — easy to handle with basic gear.
  • Time to reach the spire: 5–10 minutes.

Step 4: Claim Your New Home

At the door, the deed automatically unlocks the spire.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Main Room: Alchemy lab, library, living space.
  • Vault Area: Storage and teleport pads (after upgrades).
  • Note: It’s pretty empty at first!
  • Time to explore: 2–5 minutes.
