In the Grow a Garden farming simulation game on Roblox, the recent BIZZY BEES update has introduced lots of new content.

This update brings features like the Bee Swarm Event, Pollinated and Honey-Glazed Mutations, new pets and crops, along with some new gear and cosmetic items.

Players can now turn 10 kg of pollinated fruits into 10 honey, which can be used to buy items from the Honey Shop.

Each mutated crop can also be sold at Steven’s Shop for a higher price, depending on the crop’s weight and rarity.

In this article, we’ve shared a step-by-step guide on how to get the Moon Melon Seed in Grow a Garden.

How to Get Moon Melon Seeds in Grow a Garden

To get the Moon Melon Seed in Grow a Garden, you’ll need to take part in the Blood Moon event. This mythical, limited-time, multi-harvest crop was introduced during the Chicken Zombie Update on May 17, 2025.

Below, we’ve shared a step-by-step guide to help you get it.

  • Wait for Blood Moon (33% chance hourly, ~every 3 hours, 15 min, crimson sky).
  • Find Blood Moon Shop (tombstone, right of Wise Old Owl NPC).
  • Check the shop for Moon Melon Seed (500,000 Sheckles or 729 Robux).
  • Farm high-value crops (Beanstalk, Moon/Candy Blossom) with Bloodlit/Moonlit/Gold mutations.
  • Sell crops at Steven’s Stand, do Eloise’s quests for Sheckles.
  • Buy seed at the shop; retry next Blood Moon if not in stock.
  • Or buy with 729 Robux to skip the wait.
  • Check inventory (` key) for seed.

Note: Currently, Moon Melon is an unobtainable seed that can only be purchased from the Blood Moon Shop during the Blood Moon event.
