Abyss is an adventure fishing simulation game where players dive deep into the ocean to catch different types of fish.
Recently, the game introduced a Valentine’s Event, which added several new features and items.
In Abyss, you play as an explorer entering a vast and mysterious ocean where survival and discovery go hand in hand.
The game includes hundreds of fish species, including rare and mutated types that give better rewards when caught.
In this article, you’ll learn how to get Moss in Abyss, along with complete details about what Moss is, how it works, and how it helps in your progression.
How to Get Moss in Abyss (Roblox)
You can get Moss in Abyss only by fishing in the Spirit Roots biome.
While fishing there, you need to grab treasure chests during the reeling minigame.
Moss drops from these chests, so make sure you successfully secure them while reeling in your catch.
How to Get Moss
- Fish exclusively in Spirit Roots.
- Ignore other biomes (Ocean, Forgotten Deep, etc.).
- Watch for the treasure chest icon in the minigame.
- Hover the icon, finish catching to open chest.
- Chest: 50/50 Moss or Rooted Geode (grind for Moss).
- Moss is not from any Geode.
- Moss-mutated fish give no Moss item.
Best Way to Farm Moss
- Fish only in Spirit Roots.
- Use Luck Potions for more treasure chests.
- Target Epic/Legendary fish (Sailfish, Eyefish).
- Keep all Moss (low drops, no shortcuts).
