You cannot buy or craft this rod directly. It is unlocked as a quest reward after you complete every stage of the quest.
Step 1: Talk to Axel and start the quest
- Find Axel NPC (near brine/ocean zone).
- Accept the Acidgrinder quest.
- Catch:
- Tainted Brine Phantom
- Brined Brine Sovereign
- Acidic Caustic Starwyrn (with Acidgrinder rod)
Step 2: Catch the Tainted Brine Phantom
