LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight supports 2-player local couch co-op instead of online multiplayer.

A second player can join the game by connecting another controller and pressing the “Drop In” prompt shown in the top-right corner of the screen.

Once the second player joins, the game automatically switches to split-screen mode for co-op gameplay.

How to start co-op

  • Start the game in single-player or prologue.
  • Connect a second controller.
  • When the “Drop In” prompt appears, press Start/Menu on the second controller.
  • The second player joins in split-screen.

How to leave the co-op

  • Open the menu.
  • Select Drop Out.
  • Or disconnect the second controller.
  • Game returns to single-player.

The multiplayer feature is limited to local 2-player couch co-op only.
