There are differents jobs in Harvestella, and you need to defeat bosses in Harvestella to unlock these jobs. The Unicorn is one such boss that you need to defeat. You need to defeat the Unicorn in Harvestella to unlock the Mage job in Harvestella.

How to find the Unicorn in Harvestella?

You can find the Unicorn in the Crimson Cascades. Search for the Crimson Cascades in the Higan Canyon. Follow these easy steps to reach the Unicorn:

  • Once you are in Scarlet Gorge, go through the Valley Entrance.
  • Go to the North of the Scarlet Gorge.
  • You will find a straight path to the summit, follow the path.
  • There are two ladders in the area that provide a shortcut. However, you only have limited time and energy in the game.
  • You might need to explore the area multiple times to find these shortcuts.

When you enter the Crimson Cascades, you will enter a cut scene. The Unicorn will appear and think you are in his way of finding the princess. You will not be able to convince him otherwise. therefore, the only way to move forward is to defeat the Unicorn in Harvestella.

The Unicorn will earlier think you are its enemies. However, once you have successfully defeated the Unicorn, it will automatically become a part of your team for the next job.

Attacks to know to Defeat the Unicorn in Harvestella

If you want to defeat the Unicorn in Harvestella, you need to be familiar with its attacks. The Unicorn has some unique moves that you need to dodge to ensure that your player is not stunned and left defenseless.

If the Unicorn is successful in its attack, you will be left defenseless for a few seconds. Make sure that you dodge all of the Unicorn’s attacks and keep attacking the Unicorn continuously. The Unicorn has two kinds of attacks:

  • The Lightening Strike: The Unicorn will produce a lightning strike through its horn and the strike area is marked with an orange circle on the ground.
  • The Horn Uppercut: This is a melee attack. The Unicorn will charge at you, and if you are not able to dodge this attack, following attacks will deal even more damage.

How to Defeat the Unicorn in Harvestella

The battle with the Unicorn is not too hard. However, you need to be aware of the attacks and you need to dodge them effectively. Here is how you can defeat the Unicorn in Harvestella:

  • If you have the skill Step Fighter, defeating the Unicorn will me much easier.
  • You can unlock the skill Step Fighter using 150 JP after unlocking Blaze on the Fighter Tier 1 Skill tree.
  • Avoid the orange circles indicating the lightning attack using the skill Step Fighter.
  • Any attack from the Unicorn will stun the player for a few seconds, so it is important to dodge all the attacks.
  • The Unicorn does not have any specific weakness, so you need to attack every chance you get and use all your skills to defeat the Unicorn in Harvestella.
  • Remember to heal up fully and prepare yourself before entering the Crimson Cascades, as you will not get a chance after that.

The Unicorn will be defeated once its HP drops to zero. When you have defeated the Unicorn, you will be able to unlock the next job, which is the Mage Job.
