Fix Can’t Invite to group in Overwatch 2
If you can’t invite friends in Overwatch 2, go ahead and go to the “escape menu”. Go on over to “Social”.
Click on Social and under here locate the friends you want to invite to your group. Press the right click after taking cursor to their name.
A menu will open up. Choose the option “Whisper” and write them any message. Then press enter.
Now go to their name, right click again, and remove them as a friend. After this, go to the chat you sent, click on their name and choose the option Add Battle.net friend and re-add them to your friend’s list.
Once they accept your friend request again, right click on their name and invite them to group.
Another thing that you can do is go to “Play” and then over to “Custom Game” and create a custom room and invite them to the room.
