If you are unable to update to 18.0.1, you can temporarily change your wireless network security settings to WPA2 (AES). Doing so will connect you wirelessly to get the update.
Once you have updated to the 18.0.1 version, you must restore your network’s settings to its earlier settings.

How to Update to the 18.0.1 Version?
Generally, the Nintendo Switch automatically downloads the recent update when it is online. But, if you doubt whether you have the latest version, you can head towards the System Settings option.
You can follow the underlying steps to manually update to the new 18.0.1 version.
From the HOME menu, you must head towards the ‘System Settings.’
Find and open the System tab and select the ‘System’ option.
Click on the ‘System Update’ to initiate downloading the new version.
