While moving through the Nine Realms in God of War, you will come across the Sigrun Curse quest near the Lake of Nine. Here is a Sigrun Curse God of War walkthrough to help you complete the quest with ease.
When you reach the Lake of Nine, Midgard, you will be able to trigger this favour. There are two ways you can trigger it. Either use the Derelict Outpost or use the Oarsmen region in the Lake of Nine. You can complete the favour through any of these channels, because the ending will be the same for you.

How to trigger the Sigrun Curse God of War Favour
If you are going through the Derelict Outpost, then as soon as you climb up the wall, you will see a message flash on the screen saying that you have found a hidden region, the Derelict Outpost. Then once you swing across, the Sigrun Curse favor will begin, and this will also flash on your screen.
If you are going through the Oarsmen Region, you will encounter some vines. Use your Blades of Chaos to obliterate them. Then jump to the other side and you can trigger the quest.
Sigrun Curse God of War quest walkthrough
After the Sigrun Curse God of War favor gets triggered, you will have to defeat some enemies. Once you have defeated the enemies, go to the end of the platform. Here, behind a rock formation, you will find the fire Lore Marker. At this stage, you will find one of Odin’s ravens on your right. Remember to take the bird down with your Leviathan Axe.
You will find a crane post on the right of the entrance, use that and go to the other side. Once you reach the other side, use the chain on the left and take the post to its highest position. After that, you will need to go back to the previous platform, but be ready as you will encounter more enemies that you will have to kill.
Then you need to climb up the ledge on the left. Here, you will again encounter enemies that you have to kill. You will have to take care of the Hell Raiders and your partner will take care of the Wisps. After that you need to get down from that ledge and use the chain to free the stuck crane post. For this, bring it to its lowest position, and then turn it to the left. Then you can use the chain to raise it back up.
Now go to the other side and climb back up. You will find a Legendary Chest and a Lore Marker. Now turn the other way and climb the ledge you find there. Once you reach the top, you will find a shiny item, which is the first half of a key. Collect it.
Now, for next step in Sigrun Curse God of War, you need to go to Oarsmen Region, find the vines and remove them with your Blades of Chaos. You will see some stairs. Climb down and defeat the enemies present there. After defeating them, go ahead and you will find some stairs. Climb them.
Here, you will encounter the Stalker boss (half man half horse). Defeat Stalker. This is best done with your Leviathan Axe. Throw the axe at its horns when they are glowing. Once Stalker is defeated, move on in the Sigrun Curse God of War quest.
You will see some chains, use them to climb the ledge. Defeat the Raven you will find there. Remove the wood in your way with the axe. Now pull the chains to reveal another staircase. Go down and defeat the Wisps. Now open the Legendary Chest and read the Lore Marker.
After this, search the area for a gate, and you will find the second half of the key behind it. Go to the Lost Treasury at the Derelict Post. Defeat the enemy, and destroy the shield blocking the entrance. Climb up on the right side. Open all the chests.
Defeat the wisps and open the Red chest. Move the chest to the left and go back to the place where you defeated the Wisps. Move the pillar to the left, and the shield to the right. Then use the wheel to open the gate. Enter and break the chain to keep it open. Now comes the last part of Sigrun Curse God of War.
Open the Legendary Chest. Now use the key to open the vault. Defeat the Wisps and the Traveller enemy. Climb up the chain and you will notice that the floor can be broken. Break the floor and collect what you find and go to the Lore Marker. Read the Lore and Sigrun Curse God of War favour will be completed.
