The Villa is a new case with medium difficulty and a 45% success rate. You can try to solve this case solo or team up with up to five players for a better chance of success.
Below, you can find the complete walkthrough that helps you solve every puzzle, collect all important clues, and identify the real culprit in The Villa.
Step 1: Get Tools Outside the Villa
Grab the shovel
- At the start area, pick up the shovel near the muddy patches.
Dig the mud for a key
- Use the shovel on the small mud piles outside.
- In one of them, you find a silver key.
Open the toolbox → get grinder
- Use the silver key in the nearby toolbox.
- Inside is a grinder.
Use the grinder on the locked door
- There’s a locked metal door outside (near the party/DJ area).
- Use the grinder on this door to break it open.
Step 2: Enter the Villa
Get the DJ booth key
- Inside the new area, go to the DJ booth.
- Pick up the key on/near the DJ setup.
Use the key to open the villa entrance
- Return to the main villa door.
- Use the DJ key to unlock and enter the villa.
Step 3: Get Scissors and Remote, Restore Power
Grab scissors upstairs
- Once inside, go upstairs.
- On a table, collect the scissors.
Open packages downstairs
- Go back downstairs into the living area.
- Use the scissors to open the cardboard packages.
- In one package, you’ll find a remote for the front gate.
Find gate frequency (433)
- Near the gate control area is a note / small device showing the frequency “433.”
- Set the remote to 433 to unlock/open the villa’s front gate.
Turn on the villa’s electricity
- Past the gate, there’s an electricity lever/switch.
- Pull this lever to restore power to the villa (TV, lights, etc.).
Step 4: TV Code → Frozen Notepad → Hidden Message
Turn on the TV
- Go back inside the villa.
- Now the TV has power.
- Pick up the TV remote and turn the TV on.
Read the TV numbers/sequence
- The TV shows a sequence with numbers.
- These numbers correspond to a later clue order (keep them in mind).
Get the frozen notepad
- Go to the kitchen/freezer area.
- Inside the freezer, you’ll find a frozen notepad.
Thaw the notepad on the grill
- Go outside to the grill near the swimming pool.
- Place the frozen notepad on the grill to defrost it.
Get a crowbar and a lighter from the crates
- Near the pool/grill area, pick up the crowbar.
- Use the crowbar to break open nearby crates.
- In one crate, you’ll find a lighter.
Reveal the hidden message on the note
- Use the lighter on the notepad sitting on the grill.
- Heating it reveals a hidden text used for the safe password (you’ll combine this with a UV hint soon).
Step 5: UV Light Clue → Safe Password → Denim Den’s Room Key
Use UV light on the walls
- Equip your UV light and scan the walls inside the villa.
- You’ll find a UV message that says something like:
- “Den is the best” and indicates it ends with “456.”
Form the full safe password
- Combine the phrase and numbers:
- Password = “Den is the best456” (exact spacing as shown in-game).
Find and open the safe
- The safe is hidden behind a panel/wall section inside the villa (check near the living/office areas).
- Interact to reveal it, then enter:
Den is the best456- The safe opens and gives you a room key for Denim Den’s room.
Step 6: Read Denim Den’s Room Clues (Identify the Suspect)
Unlock Denim Den’s room
- Use the Denim Den room key on the locked upstairs bedroom.
- Enter the room and inspect everything.
Read the anonymous email/note
- On the computer or desk is an email/note.
- It says something like:
- “Elena could keep it, but George also has a way to deliver it.”
- The “it” is the briefcase, and the note mentions needing a yacht/boat to reach an island.
Connect the yacht clue
- Another clue indicates you must reach the island via the yacht.
- In the suspect list, George is the yacht owner, the only one who can drive the boat.
- This strongly implies George is the suspect who took the briefcase.
Step 7: Fuel the Yacht → Island Note → Finish Case
Collect the fuel tank
- In Denim Den’s room or nearby, pick up the fuel can/tank.
Fuel the yacht and travel to the island
- Go down to the dock area with the yacht.
- Use the fuel tank on the yacht to refuel it.
- Board the boat and ride to the small island.
Dig the island note
- On the island, use a shovel on the mud patch again.
- You’ll find a note from Denim Den, saying he’s already one step ahead and has escaped.
Watch the cutscene
- After reading the note, a cutscene plays, wrapping up the story for this case.
End the investigation & pick the suspect
- Return to the voting screen.
- Select George, the yacht owner, as the suspect.
- Confirm. The game will show that this is correct, and the case ends successfully.
