Pet Mutations are a new feature introduced to Grow a Garden on July 12, 2025, designed to enhance the game’s fun and engagement.

This feature lets players apply mutations to certain pets, no matter if the pet is Shiny, Inverted, Frozen, Windy, or has any other form.

Unlike plant mutations that boost crop value, pet mutations give pets new powers or improve the ones they already have.

Once a mutation is applied, the pet’s appearance changes completely, and it becomes stronger and more valuable compared to a normal pet.

In this article, we explain how to get Pet Mutations in Grow a Garden, including their chances, looks, abilities, and more.

How to get Pet Mutations in Grow a Garden

To apply Pet Mutations, you’ll need to use the Mutation Machine by submitting a pet that is at least age 50, along with a fee of 500 million Sheckles.

The machine takes 1 hour to apply the mutation, and the effect is permanent.

If you don’t want to wait, you can skip the timer by paying 49 Robux.

You can find the Mutation Machine next to the Pet Eggs Merchant Shop.

If you submit a pet that already has a mutation, the new mutation will overwrite the old one.
